Telus why we shouldn't.

Summer is upon us, and what better way for kids to spend the season than learning about science?? Ok, there's swimming and bike rides and ice cream cones, but what about the rainy days?

In the spirit of our ongoing giving campaign, this month we are offering an opportunity to evaluate our Hydro-Geomechanics of the Upper Mannville Deep Basin study by simply making a donation to Calgary's Telus Spark to help support their summer camp program.

First of all, let us reiterate how our Partners In Giving program works. Each month we offer technical content designed to assist your company’s efforts on a key play in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. We're not talking generic freebies here. Our work has considerable value. It'll be more of a trade of sorts. Keep reading.

We will establish giving campaigns with a selection of non-profit organizations. A donation to the campaign will get you not only the technical goodie of the month, but also a matching credit (up to a specified limit) towards any of our projects or services. Think of it as Enlighten making our contribution in advance.

To participate in this month’s event, all you have to do is send us a copy of a receipt for a donation of at least $500 to Telus Spark by entering your information in the contact box on our Contact page or clicking on one of the email links. By the end of June, Enlighten will provide a 3 x 3 township subset of the Hydrodynamics of the Upper Mannville (Elmworth and Notikewin) centered on the type well, 100/10-01-070-11W6/00. This package will include:

  • Pressure vs Elevation graph of the sample study area for the Upper Mannville and the constituent intervals

  • Pressure vs Depth maps

  • Constituent interval unit isopach maps
